As a 50 yrs old grown kid I love this channel! Even the ASMR of the toys is satisfying to hear! All the stuff I had or still have! Star Wars and GI Joe were me and my brother’s heaven. MASK and HeMan got thrown in there too. A little bit of everything else from ShoGun Warriors, Battle Star Galactica, Buck Rodger’s 3in figs and some Super Powers Figures. This guy’s collection brought back some great memories and sadness that I sold all my toys as a Teenager thinking I’d moved on only to be brought back into collecting when the Star Wars line came back out in the 90s . Now I’m hooked all over again. Our generation should Never grow up out of toys !

I remember seeing that western stuff in comics ... I think they may have reused some of that stuff when they released The Legend of the Lone Ranger toys based on the flop movie. I loved the movie as a kid though. I liked the John Barry soundtrack and that scene in the canyon where all the Texas rangers get murdered. Pretty brutal stuff for a kids movie.

skip the roids and coke and booze and a parent could afford more for a kid.. abstain ... not as if i believe anyone really has that type of life, stop doing roids and boozing for a toy for your kid... or gawdson.. the prototype of the real robotic r2d2 could be right around the corner except humans will probably trash the environment before that transpires & manifests itself..

Im not familiar with most vintage toys but you seem very fair with your prices and how you speak to people. Unfortunately, I think people look at something online and assume it sells at that price or may not include things like the shipping and platform fees etc to reduce items to a more true valuation. They mostly want to dump it at full value without doing the work involved that it takes to actually sell it all at that value so expecting the stores to do it for free.

I bought and sold the large A-Team Playset here in the UK years ago. They are exceptionally rare!

The guy had a lot of stuff no one wants to add that much inventory and investment that’s why the offer was probably lower then he would’ve gotten if he put in a lil work to sell it himself

Devin!!! Love Devin. I can proudly say I sold my childhood toys, all misb transformers, to toy fed years back. It helped me get a good downtown payment on my first truck. Wouldn’t have sold my figures to anyone else but these guys. No sacrifice no victory!

I love the set of the store obviously the episode is amazing but the different figures in the back posed out just make it pop!

There is definitely a degree of store loyalty amongst some customers...but it seems like the vast majority of collectors out there put in multiple preorders and then go with whoever comes in first and dump the rest. Not sure. I'll bet I've only dropped three preorders in the past 7 years, and I feel bad about those...the last one was probably 4 years ago. And, I typically stick with the same two or three dependable retailers that I know I can count on. I don't need to get things early...I just need to know they're actually going to show up.

I would have such a hard time selling my childhood stuff! I sold off about 90% of my collection back in 2007/2008...about the only things I kept were my childhood toys (and a handful of stuff I always wanted as a kid but could never have). It looked like he was lamenting his decision somewhat. It had to be difficult for him. I know we all have to let go of this stuff at some point, though. Of all of the stuff in his collection, I think I'd like that Inspector Gadget. I've always wanted one and never had one. I loved that cartoon as a kid. That G1 Megatron is tempting too!

I am a reseller and the asshole that sent you that box where they used USPS stickers as tape is gonna be one of the douche nozzles that ruins free USPS packing materials for everyone. I like free packing material from the post office so I use it correctly (as designated, on Priority mail packages). People like this are going to fuck it up for all of us and I will have to spend even more money on expensive packing materials.

he looks like the karate fool, hoarding - the time of going through old stuff is unbelievable - i bought a pack of sports cards recently, and the time it took to unopen look at each one and throw them all in the trash was significant, like opening a cheap cigar and puffing through 1/3 of it and throwing it away before i lose an eye - the old toys have less poisons, less extremist groups working to poison the planet - if there are other productive things to do, those old keepsakes belong in the trash, he's spent his life sifting through the trash - holding the lives of future inhabitants of the desolate hellish planet in tact by keeping their rotten trashy toys for them, faded & weathered but handed down over generations in a scheme of greed, landing in the hands of the trash dwellers

Until the UA-cam algorithm inexplicably sent these videos my way I had no idea that there was a whole culture & community based around toy collecting. I actually think it's quite cool and interesting. I'm thinking about maybe starting with collecting Star Trek (Next Generation, Voyager, Deep Space Nine) items as i have one or two already, and I'm really into those old shows. Is Star Trek something people collect, trade etc?
